Highlights From Danberry Design House’s Award-Winning Year

In today’s competitive real estate landscape, exceptional marketing is a necessity. The way agents and brokerages present themselves, their service, and their story directly impacts visibility and trust. We’ve long recognized that an in-house approach makes for more efficient and successful branding. That’s how Danberry Design House, our one-stop shop for all things marketing, came to life in 2017. The team has grown exponentially over the years and now consists of graphic designers, photographers, videographers, social media specialists, commercial printing, and interior design. 

DDH received numerous recognitions in 2025 that celebrate creative excellence, strategic thinking, personal achievements, and measurable impact across every level of Danberry. These awards highlight the power of having a dedicated, in-house team. Unlike outside agencies who work at arm’s length, an internal department understands the nuances of the market, the goals of agents, the standards of our brokerage, and real estate advertising laws. 

We are so proud of Design House for showing what’s possible when creativity, collaboration, and industry expertise come together under one roof!

Graphic Design USA’s 2025 American Inhouse Design Award for the Flow Program
The Flow Program is the centerpiece of our Resource Driven Marketing Campaign. This monthly campaign delivers coordinated postcard and social media graphics to over 250 participating agents automatically. Each month’s content focuses on practical value for the client. This includes spotlighting local businesses, highlighting community events, and offering seasonal home care tips or maintenance checklists.

The team collaborated with Danberry agent Nicole Hartschuh to design a thoughtful, ongoing Neighborhood Mailing Campaign that blended strategy, design, and storytelling. With strong engagement and measurable results, Nicole plans to continue and expand this campaign into 2026.

Graphic Design USA’s 2025 American Graphic Design Award for The Amlin Auction Informational Brochure
As a long-standing, family-run business serving multiple brokerages and thousands of clients, Amlin Auctions has deep roots in our community. When they approached us to refresh their informational booklet, we were tasked with reimagining a piece that hadn’t been updated in nearly a decade. The finished booklet became more than just an informational tool; it served as a testament to Amlin Auctions’ identity as a generational business built on trust, tradition, and community.

MarCom Gold Level Winner for 2025 Buyers & Sellers Guides
The MarCom Awards are an international creative competition that recognizes excellence in marketing and communication. Entries are judged by industry experts, with awards celebrating creativity, quality, and measurable impact.

Our Buyer and Seller Guides first launched in 2018 and have gone through several versions over the years. The latest 2025 version is the most agent-driven yet, designed in close collaboration with our team through agent focus groups and ongoing feedback. We built the content around real conversations happening every day across Northwestern Ohio and Southeastern Michigan. We’re especially proud that this update also includes a Spanish version. Agents can access the guides digitally, in print, or customize them for their own branding.

Danberry x Canva Case Study
In 2021, Danberry joined Canva Enterprise for the launch of our content platform, Render by Design House. Over the years, Render has evolved into an invaluable tool with over 1,000 customizable templates that our agents can quickly fill or use as a jumping off point for graphics tailored to their personal brand. Our recent case study with Canva showed a 16x increase in content production and a 75% reduction in content creation time. Read the full study here.

VoyageOhio Rising Stars: Maria Penler
Shout out to Maria Penler, our Director of Marketing, who was interviewed as a Rising Star in November 2025! VoyageOhio is “a platform that fosters collaboration and support for small businesses, independent artists and entrepreneurs, local institutions and those that make our city interesting.”

Maria graduated from BGSU in 2018 with a BFA in Digital Arts and a minor in Art History. Soon after, she joined Danberry as a Marketing Assistant and became our Director of Marketing in 2023. She has since earned her Master of Design in Integrative Design from BGSU, where her thesis focused on improving health insurance literacy in young adults through human-centered design.
